Inter House English Declamation and Debate Competition (22.07.2023)
St. Stephen's School organized an exhilarating Inter-House English Debate and Declamation Competition, showcasing the brilliant oratory skills of students across different grade levels.
In category 1, the participants of classes 6 and 7 delved deep into the thought-provoking topic "Punishment Does Not Foster Discipline."
In Category 2 the participants from classes 8 and 9 mesmerized the audience with their speeches of famous personalities. Each participant chose an eminent figure from history, science, literature, or other fields and eloquently conveyed their famous speeches. Class 10 students took on the challenging topic "Rapid Industrial Growth Has Caused a Spike in Natural Disasters." The participants demonstrated a remarkable grasp of the subject matter, providing well-researched insights into the interconnection between industrialization and the surge in natural calamities.
The competition was graced by esteemed judges, Mr. Harpal Singh and Dr, Deepa Puri, who with their insightful evaluations and constructive feedback added immense value to the competition, inspiring the participants to continuously improve their skills and pursue their passion for Public Speaking.
