A special Assembly was conducted by Mars house on Diwali. School choir started the assembly by singing a beautiful Hindi song which was followed by two school prayers by Kashavi and Manya of class 7-D followed by a special prayer by Lopez Sir. Yashika of class 9 conducted the assembly with the help of ‘Ms Rashim Sharma’. Information on 5-day celebration of diwali was given by Sanjam of class 9. “Say No to crackers poem was recited by ‘Vanshika’ of class 7-A. then Do’s and Don’ts were put forward by Tashurla of class 9-B.
An oath was taken by senior school to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali. Main emphasis was given to motivate the children to celebrate Diwali by not bursting crackers and helping the underprivileged people.
