Interact Club 2015-2016 Installed

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club was organized at St. Stephen's School, Sector 45-B, Chandigarh on September 15, 2015. The even was of a very solemn nature.
The Master of Ceremony Shayiq, welcomed the President of Rotary, Chandigarh, Mr. D.P. Singh, Secretary, Mona Khattar, Mr.Tarneja, Co-ordinator of Interact Clubs, Mrs. Neenu Vij, President, Elect and few other members of Rotary, Chandigarh.
The meeting was called to order by Sergeant-at-Arms Priyansh Singhal. The outgoing President 2014-15, Ms. Akanksha Sharma was represented by Master Abhay who systematically presented the report of all that the Interact Club had succeeded in doing through 2014-15. A slide show presentation was was displayed, illustrating all the activities undertaken during 2014-15.
The incoming President, Himanshi Garg was collared by the President of Rotary, Chandigarh Mr. D.P. Singh. She announced the activities planned for 2015-16. She said that her team will emphasise on Literacy Drives, Awareness of Cleanliness, Health and Hygiene, Tree Plantation, Helping the Economically Weaker Section and other similar projects.

All the members of Rotary Chandigarh pinned badges on the members of the incoming team 2015-16, President Mr. D.P. Singh said that he was hopeful that the new team will do wonders through the year. He promised to give all the help whenever required. Mr. Tarneja, Coordinator of Interact Clubs told about the four way test and the importance of their role as they work for the betterment of society.
Mr. Louis Lopez, Head Master, St. Stephen's School, Chandigarh extended a vote of thanks. He stressed on the importance of positive interaction between individuals and encouraged the team to imbibe the best values from their teachers and mentors. The meeting ended with the National Anthem.
