An investiture ceremony is a significant event in the life of a school where the deserving students are bestowed with positions of responsibility and leadership. It not only recognizes their achievements but also instills a sense of duty and commitment towards the school community. At St. Stephen�s School, the investiture ceremony is a grand affair that showcases the school's values, traditions, and the potential of its young leaders. Keeping in synchronisation with this tradition, St. Stephen's School, Sector-45 B, held its Investiture ceremony on 19th May 2023.
The newly appointed council members were adorned with sashes and received their badges from the Co-ordinators, House masters and House mistresses of both the junior and senior wing. The Principal of the school Mr. Barry Francis addressed the audience, emphasizing the significance of leadership and the responsibilities associated with it. The speech motivated the students to embrace their new roles with integrity, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence. The School Captains, Aadi Anand and Arpita, took a pledge on behalf of the Prefects that they would uphold the values inculcated by the school and always strive to do their best and fulfil all duties entrusted to them with utmost sincerity. The new Head Boy, Mithilesh Katyal and Head Girl Kirti Khanna led the Student Council in their oath.
The sacred ceremony served as a platform to inspire and motivate students to strive for excellence, embrace leadership, and contribute meaningfully to the betterment of the school and society as a whole.
