Uday Memorial Debate Competition

Uday Memorial Inter School Debate Competition was conducted on April 26, 2023, in the school auditorium, at St. Stephen's School, Sector 45B Chandigarh. The Debate Competition is held every year for Uday on his birth anniversary. He was in St. Stephen's from 1994 to 2000. He was born in Jaipur on April 23, 1982 & was killed in action in Habbaniyah, Iraq during operation Iraqi Freedom on December 1, 2003.
Fourteen Schools from the tricity participated in the Debate Competition and each school was represented by two students.
The topic for the debate was, 'Chat GPT is the death knell of Creativity.' The competition was a resounding success, and all the participants were praised for their hard work, commitment and dedication to the art of debating.
