Sgt. Uday Singh died on Dec1, 2003. He was killed in action in Habbaniyah, Iraq during operation Iraqi freedom. On this day his father Lt. Col.P.M. Singh and his mother Ms. Manjit Singh have formed a family trust and give cash award to boy/girl in three categories.
Category 1 -
Rs. 5000/- to a boy of class 10 with qualities of integrity, moral courage, dependability and devotion to duty - leadership
This award was given to Yudhvir Kabuli-10D
Category 2
Rs 5000 to a boy/girl with the highest aggregrate marks in English during the course of the year including Board Exams

Category 3
Rs 7500/- each as a scholarship to the most deserving student

This was done in the auditorium of the school. The assembly began with a song 'We will Fly' followed by the two School Prayers. Vandana Ma'am spoke about Uday's Achievements. Readings from the Bible & Guru Granth Sahib & their reflections followed. Lt. Col.P.M. Singh and Ms. Manjit Singh gave away the awards. The assembly ended with the school Anthem.
