Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya's Students visit the Stephenians 2014-04-26
About 55 Children and Teachers of Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, Jagatputa visited St. Stephen's school Sector 45 B Chandigarh on April 26,2014 to meet students of class 10 A. The students interacted with each other. The students of St. Stephen's School made them aware about the importance of health, hygiene, nutrition and a neat and clean environment. They made them aware about the causes of pollution and how to preserve and conserve the environment. The children of Jagatpura were able to answer many questions on various topics related to the environment. They were served with fruits, chocolates and were gifted various stationery items .They were thrilled to spend time in a new and a very different neat and clean environment in comparison to their school.
Students of class 10 explained the importance of water and various methods to save water they also explained the importance of saving rain water. The students of Jagatpura went back with the pledge that they will make sincere efforts of keeping Chandigarh clean. It was a great experience for the students of St. Stephens as well.
