The students of St. Stephen's School sector 45B Chandigarh celebrated 5th June, World environment day at Anand Niketan sector 46A. The Students conducted various activities such as poem recitation, street play, dance, speeches, etc, to make the people understand the importance of our environment. Students also took a pledge not to harm the environment.
A plantation drive was conducted where the students planted various plants in pots and the parks. The people were encouraged to keep their environment clean and were taught how to do so.
In the end everyone was gifted a sapling.
The Interact Club , Early Interacters, Nature's Glory Eco.Club and Boys Parliament gifted a plant to dear Carver Sir and Francis sir on the occasion of World Environment Day,5thJune.
