St. Stephen’s School celebrates Oct 1 every year as a day of Thanksgiving and Reconciliation. This tradition had been initiated by the Founder of the school Mr. Harold Carver to bring the entire school community together in prayer to thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us.
This year too, the management of the school along with the staff members and well-wishers gathered in the school auditorium for the Holy Mass which was celebrated by the Bishop of the Shimla-Chandigarh Diocese, Bishop Ignatius Mascarenhas along with 24 priests of the Tricity. The Stephenian Choir added music which was soul-stirring and brought meaning to the celebration. The importance of gratitude and reconciliation in our lives was highlighted. All those present, gathered for a community meal after the Mass.
