Remembering Carver Sir

Some people leave behind memories. Others leave behind a legacy. Carver Sir left both.

For generations of students, teachers and members of the St. Stephen’s community, Mr. Harold Anthony Carver was more than an educationist. He was a familiar presence whose life and work became part of the story of the institution.

His passing on 7 September 2026 marked the end of an important chapter in the history of St. Stephen’s School.

Yet his influence does not end with his passing.

It lives on in the classrooms where students continue to learn, in the teachers who continue to guide them, in the traditions that continue to bring the school community together and in the values that continue to shape the lives of young people.

As we remember Carver Sir, we celebrate not only the life he lived but also the ideals he represented—dedication, discipline, education, leadership and service.

His memory will remain an enduring part of the St. Stephen’s story.

His journey has ended. His legacy continues.
