A Legacy of Light and Guidance: Remembering a Mentor and Guide
For thirty-six years, I had the profound privilege of walking through the corridors of St. Stephen's under the invaluable mentorship of a true visionary leader — our beloved Founder-Director, Carver Sir.
To work under a person with such extraordinary depth is to witness history, grace and inspiration unfold day after day.
What stays with me the most is the personal touch he gave to everybody. He made each one of us — be it a student or a senior teacher — feel seen, valued and comfortable. His warmth was evident in whatever he did. He was truly a fatherly figure: gentle in correction, firm in guidance and always ready with a solution to each and every problem. Even when we made mistakes, he showed us a different way out, with patience and understanding — that changed countless lives.
His warmth and wisdom will continue to light our school's path.
We will carry forward his legacy by upholding the values he lived by everyday.
