Our school commemorated National Road Safety Week by organizing a thought-provoking seminar, aimed at raising awareness about road safety measures and reducing traffic-related accidents.
Principal Mr. Barry Francis warmly welcomed our esteemed guests, including Wing Commander G.S. Grewal, Dr. Pervesh Sharma, Inspector, and officials from the Traffic Police Chandigarh.
Dr. Sharma delivered an insightful presentation, enlightening students on various aspects of road safety. She emphasized the importance of wearing helmets and seatbelts, and notified students about punishment provisions for traffic defaulters.
The seminar also featured an engaging quiz session, with Sara Thaman of class 9A emerging as the winner, taking home a trophy.
A poignant skit on road safety and helmet usage further drove home the importance of responsible road behavior.
The seminar concluded with a collective pledge to uphold road safety and adhere to traffic rules, empowering our youth to become responsible road users and champions of safety.
