Cultural activities provide opportunities to the students to express themselves, build confidence, increase capabilities to work in team and develop social skills that are essential for their overall development.
St. Stephen's School, Chandigarh hosted the I.C.S.E cultural meet on 19th October 2024 in the school's auditorium. Thirteen I.C.S.E schools from the tri-city participated in this Cultural Meet showcasing their talent in dancing, drama and singing.
Mr. Mervin West, the Convener of I.C.S.E. schools and the Principal of St. Xavier's School, Zirakpur was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Cultural Meet began with the pious ceremony of the lighting of the lamp by the Mr. Mervin West, Mr. Barry Francis, Principal St. Stephen's School Chandigarh and Mr.John Xavier, Vice Principal St. Stephen's School Chandigarh.
It was followed by the colourful dance performances by the students of various schools. It was a treat to watch these students perform with the beautiful synchronisation of the footsteps.
The program culminated with the singing of the national anthem and the vote of thanks by Mr. Chandan Patwal, Vice Principal of St. Xavier's School, Chandigarh.
