Our school celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The day began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, which was performed by our Chief Guest Fr Bibin Varghese, accompanied by our Principal, Mr. Barry Francis and Vice Principal Mr. John Xavier. The NCC cadets presented a crisp salute, and the students sang the national anthem with pride.
The students then presented a medley of patriotic songs, filling the air with fervor and enthusiasm. The songs were thoughtfully selected to inspire and motivate the students to love and respect their country. Several students also recited poems and delivered speeches that highlighted the significance of Independence Day. Their words were a testament to their love for the country and their commitment to its values.
Our Chief Guest Fr. Bibin Varghese, encouraged the students to work towards creating a better India for future generations. The students listened with rapt attention, absorbing every word. Principal, Mr. Barry Francis, also addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and nation-building.
