The Interact Club was instituted on November 7, 2011 at St. Stephen's. The official ceremony to cover and honour the President of the Interact Club was held. The former President, Sapna Gupta covered the new President, Shreya Pal and pinned the Vice President-Vishal Rana, the Secretary, Simran Kaur, the Treasurer - Anshu Thakur, the Collector - Arnab, The Sergeant - at - Arms - Gurleen Kaur and the Directors of Club Services - Shishti Goel, Vocational services - Aanchal Sareen, Community Services - Jaspreet Khalsi and International Services - Jishant Singh with their respective badges. The former President gave a presentation on the previous year's activities and the place for the coming year were discussed.
The Interact Club is a part of the Rotary Club at the School level. It is a very active club which enables students to take up social responsibilities and encourages their to do something good for people around. Being the President I had a great responsibility on my shoulders but I had the constant support of My teachers Seema Gupta Ma'am and Lata Ma'am and my Board of Directors.
We had organized trips to the Chhatbir Zoo and Kapurthala Science City, Workshops for under privileged children and a little entertainment for them to break their monotonous schedule. There was a cleanliness drive around our school and plantation programmes in our schools. All these activities were just ways of gaining knowledge about the people around us through fun. It has been a great honour and pleasure and I thank my teachers for giving me this opportunity.
